this violin strain reminds me of the host of fingon bearing down upon the forces of morgoth in hope and valor before the lord of darkness capitalized on the weakness of men and the host of the noldor was broken 

this bugle reminds me of the horn blown by maglor as his brother maedhros brought their host to fight on the same side as fingon’s once more, and how maedhros raised his right arm–the one with the severed hand–to his cousin across the battlefield, and how fingon raised his sword in loyal return

this percussion reminds me of the relentless cry of húrin as he hewed down enemy after enemy, even after his elvish friends had fallen–“aure entuvula! day will come again! day will come again!”

this melody reminds me of the tears shed in the endless horror that was the nirnaeth arnoediad
