i watched the first episode of the attack on titan dub and i’m laughing

  • instead of getting a child voice actor to do young eren’s voice they just had the poor regular voice actor try to do a high-pitched squeaky voice and it sounded like beyblade i was really entertained
  • THAT BEING SAID EREN’S VOICE ACTOR REALLY DELIVERED IN THE SCREAMY PARTS and that’s honestly those are going to be the toughest lines so i have high hopes
  • meeka-suh’s voice was honestly pretty spot-on
  • armin was. weird. because i’m 60% sure he was voiced by an actual male actor this time. that weirds me out a little bit. i’m guessing it’ll be less jarring when we see him older but. wow. i expected like a maxey whitehead voice

honestly i still have high hopes for this dub because attack on titan is something I WANT TO SEE IN ENGLISH considering the european setting (i really really really really want to see it in german tho)
